Moxiget of Getz Pharma (Private) Ltd Approved by (WHO)

Moxiget (Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride) 400mg tablets and injectable produced by Getz Pharma (Private) Ltd Karachi, has become the first Pakistani medicine to be added to the list of pre-qualified products (those medicines that have been evaluated by WHO and are considered up to the mark for procurement by UN agencies, other international agencies and countries). Furthermore after a comprehensive inspection the WHO team has also found the company’s Quality Control Laboratory to be complying with Good Practices as prescribed by WHO.

This means that now Moxiget will be easily exported anywhere in the world. This will prove to be a big boost to Pakistan’s drug exports which is currently only $110 million annually.

Moxiget is used to treat various kinds ofbacterial infections of the lungs, sinuses, skin and stomach.
