BBD, Pakistan

In 2012, BBDO initiated its branch in Pakistan. In a short span of three years it has done tremendously well, having launched successful campaigns for 7-up, Mountain Dew & Sting. It has also won many prestigious international awards at events such as Spikes Asia, Campaign Brief Asia, Dubai Lynx, One Show, D&AD & London International Awards.

The Campaigns

Not a Bug Splat

BBDO, Pakistan designed a campaign for Reprieve (UK) & Foundation for Fundamental Rights (PAK), to create a realization about the sufferings of innocent people in KPK due to drone attacks. A huge portrait of a young girl (who is said to have lost all her family in one attack) is placed in the fields in such a way that it is visible on maps online, satellites can catch it and the drone operators can see it, so they may think twice before treating humans as specks on their screens. This effort has been greatly lauded by the international community.

The World’s First Billbed

BBDO, Pakistan designed a campaign for our leading company, Molty Foam, where billboards (made of mattresses) have been installed in nine cities i.e. Daska, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Shiekhupura & Sialkot. At night these can be converted to beds, so hundreds of homeless laborers sleep comfortably.
