Nurpur: 50 Years of Dairy Excellence
Nurpur which is the brand name of Fauji Foods Ltd (previously known as Noon Pakistan Ltd) started out on 26th September 1966 as a PLC (Public Limited Company) and today it has become one of the leaders of dairy products in Pakistan. A member of the Fauji Group of Companies, it is the first Dairy Company in Pakistan to be certified under ISO 22000:2005, and is also the first private sector company that used a Spray Dryer to make powdered milk. The processing plant is located in Bhalwal, Sargodha.
Nurpur Products
Nurpur not only produces butter, cheese, milk and cream, it also offers a large variety of colorful and tasty products that have been introduced gradually over the years such as fruit juices, flavored milk, flavored lassi (drinking yoghurt), jams, marmalade, desi ghee and tea whiteners.
But by far Nurpur Butter and Cheddar Cheese remain unmatched in their quality! Furthermore this year during Ramazan its UHT milk was made available in a new packaging as well as improved quality which was quite a hit with the public. Awards Received by Nurpur
Due to the high quality of its products, it has to its credit many awards. It received the Brands of the Year Award 2007 for its butter. Then it received Brands of the Year Award 2008 for butter, cheese and flavored milk. In 2009 it again received it for butter and then in 2010 for butter, cheese and flavored milk. While in 2011-12 it received for butter, cheese, flavored milk and drinking yoghurt.
One hopes that Nurpur will continue to serve its customers with the same commitment and zeal as it has for the past 50 years, and would scale new heights of success too!
