French automobile company Peugeot has finally decided to launch vehicles in Pakistan, This was confirmed by the Facebook official page and website that Peugeot has created for Pakistan. According to the official website of Peugeot Lucky Motor Corporation, Peugeot is aiming to manufacture various vehicles for the general public in Pakistan.

2008 Peugeot was quite popular in Pakistan when it was spotted on Pakistani roads. The 2008 Peugeot is a crossover SUV competing with Lucky Motors’ KIA and the MG ZS. It is loaded with a 1.2L Turbocharged petrol engine having 3 cylinders capable of producing 131 horsepower and 220 Newton-meters of torque. It comes with a front-wheel 6 speed automated transmission.

Compact crossover SUVs have enjoyed fame in Pakistan, Pakistan has seen many manufacturers launching their own SUV and Peugeot is in the field with Peugeot 3008 crossover SUV that will compete with Hyundai Tuscon, Proton X70, KIA Sportage, and few others. 3008 will have a night vision camera, off-road settings, an automated braking system, Hill descent control, and some very cool and advanced features.

Adding to the list, Pakistan is likely to see the Peugeot 5008 too and this vehicle will target the limited market as the Pakistani market for 7-seaters is quite limited. Peugeot is targeting the Toyota Fortuner and KIA Sorento with their 5008. It will have the same set of features as the smaller Peugeot SUVs but with some excellent features such as a massage setting in front seats, a digital instrument panel, and a full HD touchscreen.
